So proud of my boy for getting his first deer. We had 3 does come out and, without my instruction, he glasses them and picked out the biggest doe and said “that’s the one I want cause she’s the biggest.” We got the rifle out the window and he waited patiently, with much anticipation, for her to get clear of the other deer and move into a good position. He put the rifle to his shoulder but was shaking so much he wasn’t comfortable taking the shot. He was very understanding of the situation and picked up his head to catch his breath and slow his heart rate. Got back into position and made a perfect neck shot and dropped her where she stood. I couldn’t be more proud!
