Can anyone enlighten me on the most heavily pressured areas when shotgun season opens?Wanting to give myself more options to hunt besides unit 9, but really wanting to do my best to stay away from crowds? I know you’re never gonna avoid everyone, just want to minimize it. Thanks in advance everyone.

From my experience area 2 has been really bad when shotgun season opens up

2 and 3 are very bad. 5 is starting to get bad. 1 is spread out. 4&6 depends on where at but spread out

Ok. So everyone needs to continue hunting their spots regardless of pressure. That’s been a standing rule at twin buttes going back 20-40 yrs.

I wonder what’s going on?? Have the deer numbers dropped in the area? Seems that no one is seeing anything. Not even doe’s. Usually doe sightings every time. Or you guys guys just have some bad juju going on!!

I wasn’t trying to intrude on anyone’s honey holes, just asking for advice. Thank you to everyone who answered respectfully. But slugs through my blind do not sound appealing to me.
