Springer will not be a free agent until after the 2021 season.

My mistake then. I'll have to do some digging to find those details. I thought the two year deal he signed prior to last season got him through his arbitration years. I love being wrong in a case like this.

Correct. Contract runs through 2020.

His deal he signed is only for this last year and next year. He still has one more year of arbitration after that but as you know, anything can happen with that. He will be an unrestricted free agent after 2020. His $24MM was for last year and next though.
