    Insert glue FMJ

This may have already been discussed but maybe not. Trying out Easton FMJ and my shop gave me the HIT tool & epoxy for the inserts. I have always used Loktite Untral Control Gel for gluing inserts in carbon arrows & never a problem. So, has anyone used Superglue on FMJ’s and what were the results. Thanks

I've been shooting FMJs for 5 years now. I've never used the included epoxy kit; rather, just a good insert glue (Goat Tuff, Bohning Insert Iron, etc). Great arrows!

I’ve used 30 minute epoxy with no problems.

The epoxy is best to make sure you get the insert to the right depth before the glue sets. With the epoxy you have time with a fast set it has to be done very quickly. The epoxy also has a better shock loading than the quick set glues imo.
