Looking for a place to go camping next weekend that has rv hookups, everywhere I’ve checked is booked up. Wanting within 2 hours of Dfw

      Try Fort Richardson in Jacksboro.

Gonna be tough only a week before a holiday weekend. We learned the hard way a couple of years ago.

Mineral Wells SP- the horse sites are larger than regular camp sites.
Used to be an RV camp SW of Mineral Wells on Brazos River(was good for short notice camping). Martin's RV...I think?? Amon Carter??

Have you checked meridian state park? Whitney state park.

Meridian stays booked and Whitney is likely under water.

You might want to start making some other plans. Doubtful your going to find an open camping spot anywhere this late. These places fill up several months in advance. Learned we have to start planning camping trips 6 or more months in advance anywhere around here. Good luck.

Yeah didn’t think about Whitney being under water.

Try Turner Falls in OK. Beautiful place.

                        Might try Cleburne State Park.

                          Another vote for Mineral Wells.
