Down riggers at 8 ft was more productive. Still a little early but it wont be long.

I'll be working/chunking two 1/16th ledheads in a current in some deep pre-stage holes waiting for the faintest of twitchs, linestopping, or a single tap.

Popes landing seems to have the most amenities and a pavilion. But no primitive camp sites if anyone needs those. $79 a night for a room.

Popes is where all the cooking will happen! When you book tell them you wanna use the pavilion Friday and Sat night for a group deal.

I live about 15-20 miles north, so I'll be staying at my house. Actually, my father-in-law has a RV spot about 1-2 miles south of Popes Landing, we may stay there.
