mjw195 my best advice i can give dont get frustrate, the first 3 or 5 times i went out i was pist. i would cast my self in circles, felt unstable, and didn't catch crap. it takes a couple times out to figure it out, and get your "style", but once you do... HOLD ON!

This! I'm still getting comfortable fishing out of mine. My buddy will catch 8-10 me nada. I just enjoy being out there. Catching will come once your comfortable in the yak. It's def diff that what I'm used to.
x10000 thats what its all about, some times i just stop fishing, and just soak it up for 3 or 4 min. look around enjoy Gods creations. I think the anchor trolly system has improved my quality of fishing the most. i also fish streams so when drifting, ill cast left side right side left side... just to keep me balanced.

Thanks for the encouragement, definitely a learning curve. When the winds got to 25 mph I tapped out. Hoping for a few calm days to get a better feel for it
