And triple or quadruple your run time to the fishing grounds? Naw brah.

Our 100 mile run took about an hour and half and got bait on the way out.

            Wow !
            Haven’t been in 6-7 years.
Used to cost us 2k total for Capt. Eddie Burger for a whole day.
            Plus a tip.
Wasn’t bad split 4 ways back then @ $500 each.
            Now looks like $1,250 a man 4x.
Glad I got to go when I could afford it.

Don't you have company gas and truck?

Why you even worried about actually buying gas a couple times a year

Yes, but they have yet to buy me a 37’ Yellow Fin with trip 300’s…….

FYI, I pay personal mileage back to the company per the IRS rules, so, not exactly ‘free’.

I thought it was bad when they raised it to $1,200 including fuel.

How much are the 48 hour party boats now?
Yea, and from the looks of that pic...
It looks like, about 30k.. Not too bad, for a days work...

Have you fished with Capt. Mike? We fished with him a couple years ago and goose egged both days. Never again.

A lot. I went 2 years ago and the fuel was an extra $1000 on top.

I just bought tuna steaks at Walmart for $8 a pound. Think I'll stick with crappie fishing for now! Meat tastes better anyway! [emoji6]

Definitely hoping fuel prices take a substantial nose dive between now and November. Already have our deposit sent in.
