Worthless Appendix

Went to bed last night not feeling good. Thought my wife's chili wasn't sitting right. Woke up at 2am with lots for pain. Waited til 5 and had her drive me to the hospital. The appendix was in the trash by early afternoon, be home tomorrow and back to work by Mon. Gotta love modern medicine.

Doctor yanked mine out about 7 years ago. Official medical description of the little critter was that he was "rotten." Praying you get outa there soon & get healed up!

If you ask soon, you may be able to get it from pathology before it goes into the burn-bag.

Be careful what you ask for, I have my gall stones when they took that out.

I had mine cut our oct 5th . Just now fully healed . I ended up with a abcess

2 weeks into my recovery - OUCH! is all I have to say about the pain prior to them getting it out

PLEASE be easy with your recovery - I let myself get dehydrated a week into recovering ( last saturday) and got sick enough over it to pass out twice and bite a hole through my bottom lip in the process. Those antibiotics are going to linger in your body for longer than you think so drink water at every available opportunity. Good luck in your recovery
