Trapping Season Thread 2020-2021

28 coyotes and one cat from last Wednesday to today on the snare line. Getting a little more serious next week been low on snare parts and building snares. Steel going in the ground next week as well once this rain moves out this weekend (fingers crossed my wheat/triticale needs it).

Pretty slow for us today. Not much fresh coyote sign this morning. Very windy out here in west Texas and they aren’t liking it. Hopefully this system this weekend gets them moving.

I may not be much help there I’m out west but starting out something like coyote claymore would work to keep it easy. I still use it a lot.

Good grief you're crushing them. Where are you located and what kind of ranch are you trapping? acreage etc
