This is another reciepe that I have been looking for years. I have tried others, but this one is the best. On old man used to bring us this bread to the office when he came in to pay his taxes. It was always good and we looked forward to seeing him. Brought back good memeories. Thanks

I have to say that the best part of any beer bread is the buttery crust end pieces, which there are only 2 of. My wife started making ours in muffin tins. Everyone gets a crust piece. No more fighting.

Shiner Black makes a good loaf too with the drained diced chiles in case the jalapenoes are too mean for you!
