An old college buddy of mine has a 1990's era taco with over 500,000 miles on the odometer. It is his daily driver, mudder and rock-crawler.

Man you can stir the pot.
Seven days from now when I pull up to your door I do not want to hear a word about my 3/4 ton diesel Prius. We love it.
Now that you have admitted to being a liberal I guess we can talk fishing and hunting but I don't want to discuss trans gender rights or wrongs in the EU.

      See you next week brother.....................

Obviously you're in the minority, judging by Tundra sales.
People don’t have to buy new ones because the older ones are still running.

I’m just messing with you. Lol, I’m sure all other brands are great, I’ve just had great luck out of Toyota.

I am not brand loyal to any manufacture.
I have been driving diesel trucks since 92, but with all the emission bs that they have started putting on them my next truck will be a gas.

I get that they may be reliable, but that’s where any comparison to any manufacture stops.
They have less power, less payload, less towing capacity, get less mpg, still have a c channel frame, and don’t offer a locking diff.
I wouldn't say they are the only ones "ate up with it". LOL
Did someone in a Toyota steal your GF at some point?
FTR, as Tim would say, I'm a Ford driving hillbilly.
Son got my Tundra when he got his license.

I am looking in the Austin area for one. Looked at the dealerships inventory. The TSS trim is nice, but looks like my budget is a regular plane Jane truck. Guess my old dodge 5.9 ain't worth to them what I thought it was worth.

Not sure where to kick him. It's a bit left of center????

I had a Tacoma for 15 years up until last year. My grandson has it now. I have a Tundra at present that I have had for 9 years. We have a Lexus suv(Toyota product) my wife bought in 2003 we use as a third vehicle commuter now. Not a wrench has been put on any of these vehicles with exception of general PM work. Nuff said.

Hell, why invest in clothes and undies when you can go naked or dumpster dive for free stuff. See... we can all play Dave Ramsey wanna be’s.
I really do not care what y'all do, but I find it very ironic that the ones on here that are the investment gurus talk about buying and financing new vehicles which has to be one of the biggest wastes of money.

As far as your other comments, I do not know anything of Ramsey. I have made a lot of money mistakes in my life but I have gotten wiser especially with retirement looking at me.
