      They are saying all the right things - I hope they can pull it off. There are plenty of other companies to fill the void with quality firearms but I would like to see that iconic brand make a comeback.

        I actually saw a New Model 700 in .270 that had no riflings cut in the barrel...
        Gunsmiths can tell you some stories for sure about the new junk..

                    They got sucked into the Walmart system where selling lots of cheap crap is the way. If they get away from that and truly get refocused on building quality stuff again, they'll do well.
