They are HERE! Had one in our tree in the front yard 3 years ago.. My neighbors got pics they sent to us in Europe. Definitely spreading throughout the south coast now. My parents see them often now in St. John Parish outside of NOLA also.

Those things are cool. I see em on the north end of Conroe fairly regularly. Amazing birds.

Murica! I have a barn I work at on Lake Limestone and I often see them on the way there. Awesome birds.

I watched one pluck a fish from the lake while I was mowing the other day. It actually missed on the first attempt then came back around and got it.

They are all over Texas now. I'm going to go check on these tomorrow to see how their little one is progressing. Two or three pair in the Woodlands. A pair with babies behind the Target in Tomball also.
