Headed to Conroe to help judge a Conroe Swat CrossFit style competition. Supposed to be over at 12:30 then I’ll be headed to the cattle ranch. I’ll be on doe patrol, our quota is supposed be 7 does a person. I barely shoot one a year but he is pretty adamant and the numbers are high so I’m going to work on a couple tonight and tomorrow am. Weekend and Monday is full with my daughters birthday festivities.
I’ll update on the way out. Plan is to hang a used Alpha Lone Wolf set up I picked off the classifieds this evening. We’ve been hand Corning a small oak flat on the river bank. There are a dozen does hitting it.

Pretty cool event. Swat teams from all over the world competing. Snipers nest, building clearing, pistol range and the fitness test.
250 m run
30 burpees over the atlas stone
160# stone carry 30 m
30 shoulder to overhead 95#
30 m walk with barbell racked
30 deadlift 185#
30 wallballs
100 m sprint back
They cut me lose early. This was the fitness test first year being added in. A couple guys killed it time wise and lots of guys opted out lol.

Has to pivot. The tree I wanted to be in had 30 red wasps come out of it after my first stick. No other good trees for my wind with a bunch of clearing. I’m gonna slip back in the pop up I hunted Tuesday.
