Appreciate guys. My FIL first buck with a bow, 3rd overall. He was pumped, just glad to get him out in the woods. We are on doe patrol again this evening. I’ll update a little better, was covered up this morning.

Settled in. Pretty spot on an oak hill. Neighbor has a 100 acre lake that wraps around it pics won’t post. Killed my first hogs on this hill 20 years ago. Would mind shooting one tonight too!

Slow. Both had deer late. I had some does to shoot but they still had fawns with spots leaving so they got the past. FIL is headed back to Houston and I’ll point east in the am. Going to make a sit at the cattle ranch in the am.

Probably mid October ish depending on daytime movement. I need to prep the small spot better for FIL soon.

Just grabbed coffee. Should be at the ranch in 30 min. Going to park on a location and slip into the back side of a hay field. Good access and hand corn waiting. Covert has been not working. Main reason for this trip
