Agreed. My college roommate is from up there and huge Buckeye fan. He told me it was finalized over a month ago and prolly in the works way before that. It will be a normal cycle for them I imagine

Meyer will coach the bowl and Day takes over January 2nd, according to ESPN. No need for an interim after the bowl game. "Naming Day as Meyer's successor shows a commitment to continuity with the staff for 2019 and beyond." Sounds like it's been in the works for at least a few weeks.

UGA had their playoff. They lost. A rematch would be just plain dumb. Two loss teams do not qualify over a one loss conference champ. Only one two loss champ ever. Never one in the playoff. It's not rocket science.

It happens in conference championship games occasionally...yes, in your beloved SEC also. It would have been worse had WVU not lost to Okie Lite and them and OU played back to back weeks. It can be avoided in the playoff.

Tell me this......if UGA got in and then beat Bama, they would have split head to head but UGA had 2 losses and Bama only one. Why would UGA win in that scenario?
