All set for the afternoon hunt. Same spot as this am. Mature bucks or whatever other riff raff we can find are on the hit list. I’m in the guides chair again with Amy on the trigger.

Do y’all think that deer will survive with that shot?

I don’t see how it would. But, I also didn’t figure the dog would have trouble finding it either. There were no guts on the trail or on the arrow. Stranger things have happened, I guess. I happen to think the deer is dead not to far from where the dog kept returning. It’s nasty thick in there, though. I spent a couple of hours flying the drone and walking abound back there during the day today.

That buck is dead somewhere. Watch for buzzards or Cara Caras
