In terms of weather it seems like opening weekend of deer season is the new opening weekend of dove season. I sure am glad it’s here but this is the pits.

Power out and been raining for an hour east of Centerville

Rained it’s butt off from around 4am and just recently let up. Gonna ease into the woods and use what’s left of this rain shower to help us get in.

Rained hard here but slacked up right at first light. say two little bucks and a decent 8pt.. Couple does. We were sitting a stand with low expectations because the wind was wrong for our big deer sets. was fun to be out and watching deer though.
