Sonora, Mexico Mule deer

Had a good hunt in Late January. Was sick as a dog but still had a good time. Passed several big deer but this one was wide and heavy. SCI went 196" and change and was 32.5" wide. I was a little shocked it scored so high with a weak side. The hunt was on a private ranch maybe 30 miles NW of Hermosillo.

yeah...holding it in your hands is crazy. I have a 176" mule deer and some other smaller ones and they are not even on the same planet with this one as far as mass and width.

passed on this beast. He is an ancient 2x2. other picture was very wide but young and with a runt.
