Great hunts by all! Went out yesterday morning with my son in law and my lab Drake. We got 5 Wood Ducks in a short hunt before church. Drake is doing great. He made all of the retrieves, including one hen that sailed on us and was making her best attempt to get away on foot...lol! He hunted that duck down and dug her out of the bushes! That's the way it's supposed to work, and the reason hunting with a well trained dog is so awesome! A few more hunts and we'll be back in the hunt test game going for his Hunting Retriever Champion title this year. Let's finish this year strong! Good luck during the last couple of weeks everyone!
