                          9000 acres low fence. $5 an acre. Max 15 hunters. MLD this year, tags for 30 bucks and 40 doe were given. Not hunted this year due to a guy leaving us high and dry. Electric and water no lodge. Family friendly. Looking for one group to take the whole place. Sparse exotics. No Night...


                          I talked to this guy back in the summer about this particular place. It sounds like a great opportunity for guys that want to put in some effort. I just couldn’t get a group together to get on it. The place is like 26 miles south of Ozona

                              I am getting off my place in Menard. 10 miles west of the town. If anyone is interested. 1000 acres. 8 guys. Group of 4 are staying and are great people. They will need 4 to fill.
                              The good:
                              Lots of deer
                              Decent number of Axis
                              Very Few BB
                              Terrain is excellent.
                              Ton of Turkey
                              Water

                              The Bad:
                              No Power or septic
                              Cows
                              100-120 class deer (LOTS OF THEM)
                              Leasing from agent
                              2 miles off paved road through main ranch headquarters
                              Limited year round. (1 visit per month in offseason)
                              $3500/Spot


                              We were told that we would have power when we leased the place. Then it never showed after numerous times of asking and no refund was given and price stayed the same. I can not see paying this much without power. However, for hunting it is a great place. The leasing agent is a well known one and I was VERY disappointed on how he handled the situation. However, no other issues. Reason the other 4 are staying is simply because they do not want to move there stuff again and they all bought generators now. If this is something you are interested in I will gladly take your contact and put you in touch with the main guy with the group of 4.
