Thanks. Ended up with 19. Mostly on timber. Most were right above bottom, but some were about 4ft from bottom. 18' water. Didnt see many fish at all in shallower water. Wind was rough after 10am or so.

Nice, I got my boat back from an overdue service and I'm ready to get back to Conroe so I can figure em' out too! A few weeks ago, we caught a few in about 10-15 FOW suspended in about 8ft.

16.30 on best 7 today and 13 fish over 2 pounds! These cats today were used to fishing Joe Pool! They ain't ever seen fish like this!!

Yep Slew, JP is a little differnt water. But dose have some good fish.

Nice. I have a couple of the Uncle Bucks rods and like them. On the other hand, I bought a Lews rod a couple of months ago and today while I was reeling one in it literally broke in half....kinda ticks me off....

We fished from about 8am till a bit after noon. Oldest wanted to go which doesnt happen often, so I figured we should go. Kept 11, was kind of slow, wind sure wasnt helping
