    Yep. The crime at hand would’ve won them $28k. Prosecuting for only that crime, it seems like a relatively fair penalty.

          Ridiculously light punishment.

          They still deserve an arse whooping from all the legit fishermen that they stole and cheated through the years.

            That ain't no lie!
            One of my friends invited me to go "fishing" with him one day.
            We got to the lake and started running trot lines.
            I didn't know they were not his!
            We got back to boat ramp with a welcoming committee waiting for us.
            Barely escaped without knuckle bumps....and that was for a few catfish.
            If I ever go to running somebodies trotlines, I'm asking; "Are these yours?"
