    Cheating FisherMen Found Guilty

Two men accused of stuffing fish with lead weights and fish fillets in an attempt to win thousands of dollars in an Ohio fishing tournament last fall pleaded guilty Monday to charges including cheating. The cheating allegations surfaced in September when Lake Erie Walleye Trail tournament Director Jason Fischer became suspicious when the fish turned in by Jacob Runyan, of Broadview Heights, Ohio, and Chase Cominsky, of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, were significantly heavier than typical walleye. A crowd of people at Gordon Park in Cleveland watched as Fischer cut the walleye open and found weights and walleye fillets stuffed inside.

    Should serve some jail time.

He probably owed 99k on the boat. They are getting off extremely light after winning $3 million over the years.

          They got off light.
          1. They should have lost their fishing licenses permanently.
          2. The guys they cheated out of all that money should get a go at them.

Hope the other contestants go after them in civil court.

                "we got weights in fish."

Wasn't one of these dudes caught using counterfeit $100 bills?

Is that accurate? They won $3M over the years??? If so, they got off WAY too light.

They should have just bought a live scope.

I think he won the boat.

They got off light but I think that anything other than the current case is just speculation.

The DA is stuck with evidence only of a first offense.

How were they passing the polygraph? Surely they aren’t paying out without top teams being polygraphed. Punishment should be stiffer in my opinion.

The “got off too easy” can be applied to so many sentences these days—-how many manslaughter/murder convictions get less than 10 years?
