Badger! His tail is up either as an alarm or as a display for a rival, whichever it is, it's to his left, btw if you coulda been there then or shortly there after you could get down wind and the smell would've told you it was badger too! They're kinda like a skunk, if that tail is up, there's stink leaking out!

Agreed. Looking over its left shoulder....can't see the nose.



We have a ton of porcupines and that looks nothing like a porcupine..

I've been hunting near,and around Jim Hogg county all my life and have never seen a porcupine. But we do have alot of badgers.
