                      We have been lucky. Rain at our place has been plentiful but I know driving thru Garza and parts of Kent counties, some places are like a desert! All our ponds are full right now.

                              Age classes finally coming back in. Things looking pretty good. Need rain though, been really dry. There will be some good deer killed this year for sure.

                              Called a sounder of hogs up in my lap the other evening while calling coyotes. Glad I was carrying my AR and not a bolt gun on that one. Things got interesting for a minute or two. Time to start putting a hurt on them.

                              Coyote pups have left the dens, they are out roaming. Been killing some of them.

                              Too early for me to start getting excited about deer yet.
