    Trailer to cabin

I work for central frieght. They started selling off certain males and year models of trailers. This trailer was used for parts to repair another so the sub-frame and landing gear were removed. The trailer was then going to be scrapped. So I thought I’d make an offer. $100 it was mine. Got a buddy with a low boy to help me haul it to the lease. Once in it spot, the work began. Insulated and sheeted the roof. Closed in the rear with a walk through door and window. Repaired the floor and dressed up the walls a bit so not to look so much like a trailer inside. Will have a loft and two sets of bunks. Wood stove for heat and window unit.
Here is what I have so far.

Looks very good. I have often thought about doing similar but using a refrigerated trailer. I just never got past the thinking part . Look forward to more pics.

Remember to put a vent and a smoke / carbon monoxide detector in.
