Got both Rotopax mounts and my 3 gallon gas can, 2 gallon water can should be in this week. Also got a pretty advanced first aid kit. Give us more confidence about being alone for several days at a time.

I'm not too worried about the engine and tranny on my daughter's 2014 4Runner. But, **** everything else is totally sub par. She will probably purchase another one after she is done with Med School. But, I myself will not purchase a Toyota product again. Cheap door lock actuators (every single one of the has had to be replaced and one twice all at 65k or less), back louver above class about to fall off, radio crapped out, seat motors, etc.

Have fun in BB. I was there last week. The Chisos Road has construction and is closed at different hours. Lot of activity out there with illegal crossings and campsite thefts if you are camping near the river. The NPS employee told me to carry a gun if I had a permit.

I juuust about have the wife convinced on a new Taco. Really wanted the Tundra for the extra room and power but this will be my daily driver and small hauler without the added fuel bill. I have the F250 for the gooseneck and tractor hauling.

Will more than likely settle on SR5. Any major differences between the trim models? Toyota isn’t really known for creature comforts, so i was curious about where the extra cost is going besides maybe suspension on the TRD.

After a 2.5" lift & tires (33's on Taco, 35's on Tundra), my Taco & Tundra get the same MPG's. Go Tundra.
