This, Browns don’t get that big.

Would this be the Texas brown. I used him to teach the kids since they walked over it a few times.

We have those in our back yard. Fun little snakes and I'm always very careful not to harm these little guys.

I used to live in FortWorth and I used to see Texas Blind snakes all of the time. Little bitty guys and if you didn't look close you would think they were worms.

Just give these cool little guys a name like Fred or Bob. Then say Hi and step over them when you see them sharing your yard with you. Over the years I’ve had several generations patrol my Asian Jasmine. They are good at keeping coyotes and bobcats and mountain lions away since I’ve yet to spot any of those big mammals in my ground cover.

Judging by the spots on its head and yellowish streaks, decays brown snake.

We called them Brown snakes. My little girls play with them. Very docile and harmless.

According to all my fellow transplant neighbors on the nextdoor app....this snake will kill you and your pets dead! Be careful and be on the lookout!

That’s a Dekay’s brown which numerous people call a Texas Brown. Texas doesn’t have a snake border fence so they’re in other places too. 😉
