            Bought my place back in 2012, closes pole was 6/10ths 9f a mile away. CTEC refused to give me a quote unless I committed to having the work done. They also refused to run power lines unless I had a permanent water source on the place (how was I going to power a well pump?[emoji848][emoji848][emoji848]) Anyways they gave me a worst case cost of $9/ft to run it which would've been almost $30k. I would still owe them a monthly check and the infrastructure I paid for wouldn't belong to me.
