Tough read, although I have never know Thumper "Chris" personally I have enjoyed his comments and interactions over the last decade. Nothing but a kind guy that was honest in the community.

I met Chris several years ago, think his wife was some kind of travel medical work and he was staying at an RV park here.
Like you said he was just like talking to someone you had known for a long time from the get go.
