Sawtooth oaks?

Have any of y'all had success with sawtooth oaks? I'm wanting to try some in central Texas.

Planted several here in east GA. Neighbor had a bunch of small ones we dug up and transplanted. They seem to mature pretty quick and put off a ton of big acorns. I wouldn't say deer prefer them or anything but they come by regularly to browse on them. Don't remember seeing any in centex though. Do they grow there?
