The only 40 yard shot is on a giant bison target. The rest are like Bisch described.
I'm not gonna steal anybody's buckle or trophy but I always have a blast. I get to see some of the members from here I like and respect as well as meeting new friends. Also I find shooting these courses gets my mind away from that backyard practice focus where the brain is so familiar with the sight picture. Tells me how bad I really am.[emoji1787][emoji23][emoji1787]

It was before I joined 10 years ago but I think that originally the club named it the "Texas Recurve Championship" as a counterpart to the "Texas Longbow Championship" held down the road at Sherwood Forest.

What is the difference between the open class, wood class and barebow? Is it based on arrows or bows or both?
Also the verbage on the “no rest/ stabilizer restrictions” is peculiar. Does it mean “no rests and no stabilizers allowed in barebow class? Or does it mean “no restrictions for rests and stabilizers in barebow class”? My logic says “barebow” means no rests and no stabilizers...but just wanna clarify.
Thanks for posting this up Jerp. I hope to make it.

I shot my 2nd 3D trad round last Sunday, and might have scored higher if I'd had done that.
