New Mexico Muley Down

Went on my first mule deer archery hunt in New Mexico. I’ve been seeing some absolute toads but unable to close the distance and connect on them. I’d passed this guy several times but tonight he tempted me too long. Got to 40 yards and let one fly quartering away. Not the biggest buck but a cool velvet archery kill nonetheless.
