    Taxidermy Work…A Bit Different!

By different I mean the subject. Lol

I’m pleased. This was a very young bird and he had a hard time with it. It’s headed back to Texas shortly and this is the only picture I got from him.

    Shot in Hereford last year.

When i see some of the bird taxidermy on here, I'm amazed at not only the quality of the work, but the beauty/uniqueness of the individual bird. I totally understand the sentiment behind mounting a bird, though, i've never experienced it myself as a lifelong dove and quail hunter - they all look pretty much the same.

That said... That is one HECK of a trophy that would be sitting on my wall, no doubt. Congrats on a beautiful specimen and awesome mount.

Thats awesome! Was it a flyover surprise shot, or did you spot him perched and took him?

                          Really cool

Dumb question: I assume morning dove and not WW or ring neck ( Asian) ?

                          Thanks for sharing f

I actually missed him on day one. Got a second chance on day two. Let’s just say I made sure I didn’t miss again.
