There are four on my 2015. Bought one solid aluminum shield at Toyota and had em install it on tundra and sequoia. Got 15% off on mine for veterans discount

Basically a muffler. No precious metals in them.

I'd bet the people removing cats don't know the difference. At least that one, once removed, won't stop the truck form working LOL
