Have you started seeing turkeys in your area yet? I see your in Cayuga which is right up the road from the 2014 release site in northeast Anderson county...

I'm planning to try and get back out there tomorrow evening and get more shredding done.

I have actually seen 3-4 rios over the past 10 years (I assume from illegal stocking efforts by locals), but have yet to see an eastern. We have a spring fed creek that runs thru our place, and it is good turkey habitat, but no birds yet.

Got about 2.5 hrs on the machine yesterday and still have a ways to go. I still haven't seen the back 2/3 of my property. A thick creek bed prevents travel right now.
Hoping to get some help from a hydro mulcher soon to cut me a path thru the heavy timber.

The biologists released those easterns with metal leg bands that would clink together when they walked, was like a dinner bell for coyotes/bobcats
