Ha, fair enough. Just trying to mix in some helpful advice.

You and I both know, that pretty much no newbies will see my post starting next season. They'll just post up asking where to hunt and how, ignoring all the years of stuff posted here that makes it easy-mode.

I take em off and put on thick wool socks whenever I start a stalk. If there's thick underbrush I drop my pants too. Makes it a lot quieter in some situations. Plus killing a Granger pig in socks and underwear just makes you more of a man.... Atleast that's what I'm told

Lots of pig carcasses reported lying around. I hear they got 150 or so on wed. There were guys getting on pigs out there today though. Plenty still to chase

A hunter told me Friday night that he asked the game warden last Thursday about how many pigs were killed and game warden said about a hundred. I was there Friday but did not see any carcasses on the ground between gate 6 and 7, but I managed to shoot this one about 15 minutes of the hunt.

My plan is an early March visit with my new Magellan Origin 12 kayak, hammock and perhaps my "new to me" Kota longbow.

This late in the game they bed up in the thickest nastiest stuff they can find and sleep all day until its dark!!!

Once you track a pig deep enough that you find where they bed up you'll understand. Also understand that you're now in it where you need a 12ga pistol for self defense.
