      1. Ruger LCR 38 - a little to uncomfortable for me
      2. Sit 238 - wanted more power and more rounds.
      3. Glock 19 - upgraded sights and trigger, this is my primary carry gun still.

In order of use, I carry daily. All have been in service for multiple years. Still have em and use em.
            1. Beretta Nano (clean, no fuss carry gun, love it)
            2. S&W 638 (still use, wanted more capacity)
            3. Ruger LCR (too small for more than a pocket stand-off gat)
            4. G-19 (love em all but too big for 24/7 carry)
            5. Walter PPK (if this was made in 9mm I wouldn't carry anything else)

                2. Full size Springfield Range Officer 1911 in 45 ACP. Hard for me to conceal, especially in warm weather clothing.

Haven't figured out the ideal carry gun for me yet. May do another Commander 1911 but will be all business/no frills...might try an aluminum frame to reduce weight. I'm partial to 1911 because I compete with them and prefer to stick with familiar grip, trigger, etc.
I compete with 1911’s, 2011’s, and glocks, and the first two are at the bottom of the list of guns I want to carry. Get a plastic compact/mid frame and enjoy larger capacity and lighter gun, in a smaller package.

Sig 232 Don't trust it. Has a tendency to stovepipe so it VERY rarely gets carried.
Glock 23 Prefect. Shoots well, goes bang every time, has plenty of rounds, and easy to conceal.

If it's not convenient and comfortable to carry, it will not be carried often.
Better to have a weapon that holds 5 to 7 rounds than no weapon at all
(for those that feel they need to carry a larger weapon for more capacity).
Glock 43 or a similar small-thin type weapon is ideal for all day, every day carry in my humble opinion.

Either a Glock 19 or Shield 9mm. It just depends on my clothing that day.
