              Just around the corner from the house.

              This is close enough to the Barnes Bridge area that the man could have spotted the same cat.

              I have seen good sized Bobcats and even coyotes run that same edge of the lake.

                    I agree that it was most likely someone's pet on the loose. The lions that I know typically avoid areas where there's lots of folks.

                            Bait it with some of these California jogger transplants. About the only thing they’re good for.

                            Besides, you should always bait a trap with its favorite natural food.

                              There's been sightings at the Rowlett Creek bike trails for years now. Not surprised by this. This sighting is within a mile of my house. Plenty of woods and cover for any wildlife.
