My feet are bad. I wore custom orthotics for 25 years. I only wore nike monarch white tenny shoes for that time as well. I looked for other shoes to wear for a long time. 6 months ago I tried Sketcher Go Walk Ultra Go shoes at Academy. They were like walking on clouds. They look like old man tourist shoes but they are legit and cheap. I stopped wearing my custom orthos and they were even more comfortable. Now if I could get rid of the artheritis in my ankle.

Had plantar for a few years. Changed brand of shoes, and literally, it felt like was taken care of over night.

Surgery fixed my plantar. I tried everything else and nothing helped.

Sucks to get old but it happens to all of us sooner or later.

Very similar story brother.... Until last year I was running 3 times a week...
if you (or anyone else having foot and ankle issues) still need help, go see Dr. Gian Steinhauser. Tell him you're a hunter and that "cousin Ali" sent you.

I have had feet problems for years now, pretty sure one of my bike accidents, either last dirt bike or the one street bike accident, broke my left foot. I think my last dirt bike accident, because of the way I landed and the fact I did so much damage to my knee with that impact. I have problems with both feet, but primarily with my left foot, which I think I broke some bones in that foot. But at the time of that accident, the doctors were mainly concerned with my knee since it was pretty badly damaged. I have to wear good shoes or boots all the time. I have trouble finding shoes or boots that don't cause a lot of pain. I went back to wearing Redwing boots because all of the other boots and most shoes caused my feet, primarily my left one to hurt a lot after wearing them a few weeks. I had found some Redwing boots years ago, that I had trouble finding, every time I needed a new pair. Well I found out about a Redwing boot store in San Antonio, since finding that place, that's where I go once a year to buy new boots, really the boots are still in good condition, as far as the leather and soles, the boots are usually black with grease and the soles are long dead by that point. The guys at the store, keep telling me to just buy new insoles, but I buy new boots. I finally found a pair of Nike shoes that felt great for about two months, but those have caused my feet to hurt for the last four months I have had them. It took a few years to finally find a pair of shoes that did not cause me foot pain. My grungy looking old Redwings are by far the most comfortable footwear I have right now. I know I am supposed to not wear the same shoes or boots every day, but the days I try and switch to a different pair of shoes, my feet hurt.

Dealing with this now. Got a shot last week, but still hurts. Headed to good feet this week and will start stretching even more.

Try to visit Dr. Steinhauser, if you're in the Houston area, he's very honest and very knowledgeable.

I have Achilles tendinitis in both heals. 6 years in and it's hard to walk in anything but high heeled cowboy boots. Any one know of someone to go to? I haven't found them yet.

I had Plantar Fascitis in both feet for about 2 1/2 years. It started shortly after I started taking a statin for cholesterol.

I stooped taking it and it went away shortly after!

Also I use Supper Feet green insoles. They are better than all the expensive custom ones. I tried them all.
