I have the opportunity to hunt a place in Grayson County right on the red river and was wondering how the hunting is up in that part of the country. I won’t be putting a feeder up or anything. Probably just take my climber in and hunt a trail. I think that county is bow only which is fine bc I primarily bow hunt unless I’m with my eight year old son. Let me know what you know about that county. Thanks.

It’s a 2 hour drive from my house and don’t particularly want to waste my time if it wasn’t worth it. I figured being next to the red river and a bow only county it had great potential, but wanted confirmation.

You probably should ditch all your other hunting options for the next few years if its on the river and only 2 hours from your house
