Fixing it myself using these tools would be pretty epic but a finish carpenter I am not. Framing out a deer blind is my skill level. Ill clean it up and oil it best I can and then see about repair work.

Wouldn’t let anyone touch. Clean it up, or tighten it up, and roll with it.

Very cool, and my kind of stuff. I am in the camp of clean it up with mild soap and water. Scotch brite pad will also be helpful, but don't scrub too hard. Once that is done and it is dry, go over it with Johnsons paste wax rather than oil. imo.

Check for a false bottom. In the bottom of chest and on the bottom of each drawer. Check for items taped under the drawers or bottom of chest.
