I saw the pictures on the Chronicle website.Now, I'll admit that I'm no underwear model, but holey moley! Absolutely not the most attractive group of folks to visit the beach. Sunburned fat as far as the eye can see.

i probably spent enough time on bolivar peninsula when i was young to say i grew up there. I was 16 in 1990 and we spent almost every wknd (sundays) on the beach in the summer and when i wasn't hanging out with friends i was fishing the surf. it was never close to what happened this past wknd.

That trash will be there for weeks if not months. Last year I went to the beach 2 weeks after jeep weekend and it was still trashed.

Trashing the beaches is awful. I rarely go down there unless I have meetings at UTMB. I buy seafood and head back home.

Yep memorial day weekend and end of school .. it will be just as packed as it was for jeep weekend..
