In east tx that's management minded compared to its past.

Just curious but what is the going rate for a tracking dog to find an animal? I am sure there are variables due to distance the handler must travel?

I called a dog for a doe. My daughter shot it with her bow.

I'm guessing they figure another will be along the next time...

People should be just as interested in finding a doe as a buck. Some are, most aren't...

I tracked a doe for my neighbor this morning. We just met today, and turns out he’s a fellow TBHer as well

I put just as much effort into finding a doe as I do a buck

I figure nobody posts a thread for a dog to recover a doe because of the expense

But I also figure if most people have a friend or lease member with a dog they use it if they can

Heck I would. That's good meat.

Do any of y'all cover deep east Texas just in case I need a dog? Please PM me. Thanks

I’ll put my B&T on any animal, she needs the work and I like to work her.

And why don’t people call a dog instead of waiting till the next morning to look? You lose all the meat.
