Killed 13 between 3 of us in Lissie on Sunday with one being a green wing... had a good amount of birds but didn’t have a bunch decoying. Gonna go back out on Thursday and see how it is

looking forward to a Sat Am hunt with our group. Bringing my son in law along too. We got 20 on Saturday, but only 4 on Sunday in Eagle Lake. Just alot less birds moving on Sunday (for us).

Had another good hunt today in Garwood. 2 limits

Yall coastal guys have it made for early teal season. I hunted a north texas lake today that holds birds if they are around. I saw 5 teal all morning; 4 gwt and 1 bwt. I shot 2 gwt this morning it has been a very slow teal season so far in the dfw area

I've been checking my lease tanks in Starr County and haven't seen any birds. Do y'all think they haven't made down here yet? We've always seen big ducks during deer season, but I've never checked this early. Do I have to check the tanks early in the morning, or are the birds just not stopping there? Any advice welcome. I'm pretty much hooked after opening weekend lol

Usually hunting tanks in S. Texas is a first hour of daylight thing. Unless you catch a front moving through.

PSA. I ordered a case of shells from Mack’s and they arrived like this. I am sure Mack’s will make it right as they have always had good customer service but just wanted to give y’all a heads up. All 10 boxes were this way. These were 3” #3 blind sides, not typically what I shoot but they didn’t have my 1 3/8oz #3 drylocks. Can’t find those anywhere.[IMG][/IMG]
