20-21 Official Duck Thread

Real slow morning in Williamson county. Pulled up to 5 trucks at my preferred spot. Chose an alternate. Have heard a few shots, but could be dove hunters.

Found a place to hunt and hammered em this morning. 3 man limit was had by 8:30 with really bad shooting on my end.

Snagged two on old river - not much shootin atoll

Hammered them this AM.

Didn’t see a single bird until 2 mins after shooting light and then we had a 4 man limit by 7:10 with no dog.

Lost 2 to alligators so probably a good thing the pup stayed home.

We only ended up with 4. Couple screw ups on the two groups that came in but not bad for where we were at. Just good to get out and enjoy the opener with family and friends.
