When your ranch road becomes a thoroughfare for illegals, you low them down by making it more difficult for the coyotes to pick them up. Hopefully it has slowed them down and made them pick a different route. Good luck driving though this one.[

I've always heard that locks are only made to keep honest people out. Have seen illegals and thieves get into most anything they want. It's just getting worse in south Texas.

I was driving not long ago and a ranch had placed those big square granite boulders about every 10 feet for at least 1/2 mile. Can’t imagine the cost but at least they are not worried about brush busters anymore

Nope, not from the outside at least. Gate closes and overlaps the posts by several inches. From the inside, possibly. But no one said it was illegal proof, just a deterrent. I think it's working as we didn't see any new signs of them leaving trash behind
