Heck yeah! I’m sitting in a little cedar bush trying to ambush an axis doe. Turkeys did responda to a few calls this morning but we decided to not push em around until my cousin got here. Tomorrow morning we are going to try and get his first with a bow.

Ended up shooting an axis doe Saturday evening. Unfortunately she did a ninja move and I hit her a tad back. Arrow exited almost between the shoulders right next to the spine. I think we bumped her while tracking that night. Found her the next day and boy do I feel terrible about the wasted meat.

I got a big ole blackbuck doe at my place Sunday afternoon! I’ve had them on my place since 2018 and this is the first doe I have shot.
